What is a premarket scan?
Vocabulary for Paper’s Premarket Scan SIM — not a live scanner, not a broker feed, and not a signal service. Practice uses FAKE MONEY and delayed educational marks only. Not investment advice.
Plain meaning
Premarket (part of extended hours) is the session before the main daytime auction many U.S. equities venues run. Prices in that window can look thin and jump around — a market-structure fact, not a trading tip.
A scan (literacy talk) is a filtered list: marks that match simple labels you chose. On Voltron the scan is schematic — delayed edu marks, literacy filters, never “buy these.”
